Are there other types of language interpreters available (for different languages)?The event will be conducted in English. There are no designated translators. However, there are many students speaking various languages who can be helpful.

Do I need to bring anything with me to the retreat?It is advisable to wear/bring the following items with you to the retreat: • White or light-coloured, comfortable clothing • Swimwear (for the Purification by Water Ritual) • October’s daily temperature should be around 11° Celsius (52°F), so bring clothing that can be layered to suit the weather • Items to be blessed • Healing Crystals and disintegrator

What will be the schedule during retreat?The event schedule will provided when you check in at registration.

How long will the retreat be?The retreat will start at 6pm Pacific Time on Friday, October 17th and end at 6 pm PST (approximately) on Sunday, October 19th 2025.

Is there a dress code? (what clothing should be worn)Please wear white or light-coloured clothing during the retreat and bring swimwear for the Purification by Water Ritual.

Do I need to send any past certification of previous courses in order to attend the AY retreat?Only the MCKS Arhatic Yoga Preparatory Certificate is necessary to attend the MCKS Arhatic Yoga Retreat.

How do I send the certificates of the previous courses I have taken?A copy of your certificate can be uploaded by the registration form.

Where can I find the application form for the MCKS Arhatic Yoga Levels?The application forms can be found using the button link below the AY L 3 description on the Retreat and Workshop page Please submit your AY level application early, along with the AY Levels Certificate, ASAP since the procedure takes a certain amount of time. For more information, refer to our Registration page. The deadline for submitting your application is midnight September 15, 2025 Pacific Time.

Where can I find the Visitor Visa application form for the AY retreat?Please go to the Visit Canada website to find requirements and how to obtain a Canada visitor visa. If you would like to receive an invitation/support letter from the Canadian Arhatic Society to attend the retreat, please contact info@canadianarhaticretreat.ca with your request.

If attending with my partner, can I combine registration and payment for both of us?When registering for the event, each per person must fill out the registration form and send the registration fee separately, to prevent any confusion.

Can I send a Tithe along with registration fees in the same transaction?You can send a tithe separately in Canada by e transfer to the email address: account@canadianarhaticretreat.ca or though the payment link (coming soon) Unfortunately, this cannot be included in the same transaction as your registration fees.

What is included in the registration fees?The AY Retreat will start on Friday, October 17th at 6 pm Pacific Time and concludes on Sunday, October 19th around 6 pm Pacific Time. What format will the AY Retreat be held in this year? Will it be held in person, virtually or a hybrid of both?The GMCKS Canadian Arhatic Yoga Retreat 2025 will be held in-person at Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Guest RoomsThere are 2 types of guest rooms reserved for the retreat. The room with the King bed can accommodate 2 people. The room with 2 Queen beds can accommodate 4 people. Both rooms are CA $289/night + tax BOOK YOUR ROOM

Is the venue equipped with accessibility options such as ramps, etc. for mobility impairment?Yes. The venue is wheelchair accessible and wheelchair accessible rooms are available upon request,

Is there food on-site that I can purchase?Yes! Food can be purchased at the Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar and the News Cafe. There are also multiple restaurants and a grocery store nearby.
